I used 2 Guys Tree Service a few weeks ago to remove three very large (80-100 feet and over 100 years old), dying, red oak trees and to remove dead wood from a fourth. The three were very close to my house and my husband is a lawn freak. It was tricky because of size and condition of these trees, proximity to house, my husband's desire for no damage to his precious blades of grass, and my desire to not damage the surrounding lower growth trees. Through a combination of skilled climbing and careful bucket truck work, they pieced down these trees to our great satisfaction. They used thick plywood to bring truck onto lawn and didn't drop carelessly into my woods or onto my lawn. They cleaned up after the take down and my yard looked great. So good in fact, my neighbors then used them to take out a couple of their trees as well! Rodney was super friendly and very professional and gave me a very competitive price. I'm so glad to have hired him.
The Work; The crew did just what Rodney said they would do. Everyone was on time and the equipment all works as it should. The guys were cutting and hauling wood constantly and cleaning up branches as they worked so workers weren't breaking big pieces into small pieces and no one was tripping over branches. It's a smooth operation. If anyone broke for lunch I didn't see them - maybe they stager lunch times to keep making progress. It was an 8 hour day and everything was removed by hand or oversize hand truck. With pieces of tree trunk over 3 feet across, I see why they have grown from 2 Guys to several guys. I had 5 guys in the back yard and they were all tired at the end of the day. It's refreshing to hear a group of guys working hard and the language is always clean. Your kids could be out watching the work from a safe distance. It's all good and very professional. The Result: My property was left clear of sticks and branches, the chips from the chain saw were cleaned up, the drive was blown out and the entire mess was loaded into their trucks and removed. Expect that when a large tree trunk is dropped on turf there will be a dent - a large tree trunk weighs tons so it's inevitable. Most limbs are roped down so there is no impact with the ground, but at the end, the trunk has nothing to be tied to. It came down with a thud. Lawn damage was minimal. I got what I paid for. I got what I was promised. I'll recommend 2 Guys to friends.
In unfortunate times we need the assistance of great customer service. 2 Guys Tree Service delivered that and more! When a large limb broke out of a big silver maple tree I called them. Rodney Walker and his crew came out the next day and removed the tree and stump. They were remarkable, professional and compassionate. When they were done cleaning up you couldn't tell there had been limbs and leaves anywhere. I can not give them enough praise for all they did for me! Prices are very reasonable and best customer service you could ask for! I will recommend them to everyone.
Better Business Bureau had a tree fall during a bad storm this Spring. 2 Guys Tree Service came out, moved the tree so that our employees cars could navigate to the parking lot, They were out the next day to cut the tree and haul it away, leaving no mess. Thanks for a job well done and your expediency.
Overall positive experience! Weather caused some delays because they didn't want to tear up my yard (appreciated). The pricing was fair and they were easy to communicate with.
This company has very reasonable rates and does great job. Their staff is very courteous, friendly and helpful. I highly recommend them.
